Say "Hey Siri, Log" to track food or reactions

Create a Siri Shortcut that lets you quickly log food and reactions by voice. Just say what Jude ate or how she's feeling, and the AI will automatically categorize it.

Step 1: Generate API Secret

Create a secure key for your shortcut

Step 2: Create Shortcut

Follow these steps in the Shortcuts app

    Open the Shortcuts app

    Find it on your iPhone or iPad

  2. 2

    Create a new shortcut called "Log"

    Tap + in the top right corner

  3. 3

    Add "Ask for Input" action

    Set prompt: "What would you like to log for Jude?"

  4. 4

    Add "Get Contents of URL" action

    Configure with the settings below

  5. 5

    Add "Show Result" action

    To see the confirmation message

Step 3: Configure API Call

Use these settings in "Get Contents of URL"

Get the most out of voice logging

  • Food examples: "fed her oatmeal with banana", "had some rice cereal", "tried avocado"
  • Reaction examples: "she seems fussy", "small rash on cheeks", "upset stomach after lunch"
  • The AI will automatically determine if it's food or a reaction
